Week 2, August 2007.
Weekly Group Discussion.

We discussed about the interview questions somemore and made a few changes like sub-categorizing the questions based on Mrs. Rosnafisah's opinions. After we did that, we talked about changing the date of the interview we were supposed to have on Thursday with En Ayob. Because we had to present on Thursday, Noor Idayu have rescheduled the interview session to next Tuesday, around noon.
We also discussed about the presentation we were supposed to have on that day. Mardhiah was supposed to present, but she fell ill and was replaced by Farena. However, on that day, we did not get to present because of the time constraint. We were to present on the next day, Thursday, 9th of August.
We have presented our progress to the class and hope to continue our project with positive inputs from our classmates. Thank you.

Week 1,August 2007.

Since our group have already found a case study for this project, this week we prepared the formal letter to En. Ayob to inform him of the analysis we will be conducting on his business.
We plan to present to him the letter next week, and start the interview session sometime in next week or the week after that.
Also this week, we started the brainstorming the questions we will be asking En. Ayob in the interview session.
Progress Report-Week 4,July

Place : Bangi.
All were present for the site visit session except for Farena Nur who had class.
We drove around the Bangi area looking for potential shops to be the subject for our assignment.
We decided to narrow down our search and focus on Seksyen 3, Bandar Baru bangi as it has big potential to find the shop that could be our case study for our CISB524 course.
The first shop we found:
Kedai Nurul,

The shop sells stationaries and school uniforms. They also provide some services to the customers such as the photostat, laminate, binding, printing services and such.
The shop had just start its business operations about two months ago. When we came to the shop, the manager was not in as she was only available only on late afternoons on some days. A business card was acquired and we continued searching for shops elsewhere.

This store mainly sells frozen foods such as nuggets, sausages, currypuffs and such. We took a business card and continued to look for other stores.

We went back to Nurul shop, to talk to the manager and was told we had just missed her. so we went on looking for other stores.

The name of the store is 'Orange Bookstore'. We spoke to one Encik Ayob about the store being our subject matter for this course and he agreed.
Conclusion:
We chose the Orange Bookstore as we managed to ask the manager directly and on the spot whether he would be willing to be a case study for our course. We also made an appointment with him concerning the interview we will be conducting about his business plans. The appointment was set on next week, or the week after that based on his time of availability.
